Detailed Packing List

Packing is a very subjective thing in any circumstance, let alone when taking two years into consideration. I feel very fortunate to have many trips under my belt, so I am not wholly green to packing for something like this. I'll try to report back in my journal and let you know what I should/shouldn't have brought.

Peace Corps Mission Statement

·Helping the people of interested countries in meeting their needs for trained men and women.

·Helping promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.

·Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of all Americans.

As you can see, my job will involve more than my assigned tasks. That eductaional approach is what drew me to Peace Corps to begin with.
